"Alcohol is more harmful than heroin and cocaine"..makes it perhaps
more sensational and attention grabbing headlines.
However,everyone.. knows the different standards used when looking
at..alcohol and drugs .While the alcohol is an extremely powerful mind
altering substance,it is seen as far less
harmful to the individual/society(as compared to heroin and cocaine). While a
person who even uses small amounts of other drugs/substance...is seen
as person who is committing a crime and so
much time wasted in prosecuting them, putting them in jail etc.

Did You Know That ???
Did you know that when you envy someone, it's because you really like that
person?
Did you know that those who appear to be very strong in heart are real weak
and most susceptible?
Did you know that those who spend their time protecting others are the ones
that really need some one to protect them?
Did you know that the three most difficult things to say are:
"I love you, Sorry and help me"
Did you know that those who dress in red are more confident in themselves?
Did you know that those who dress in yellow are those that enjoy their
beauty?
Did you know that those who dress in black are those who want to be
unnoticed and need your help and understanding?
Did you know that when you help someone, the help is returned in two folds?

it to someone in the face? But did you know that it has more value when you
say it to their face?
Did you know that what is most difficult for you to say or do is much more
valuable than anything that is valuable that you can buy with money?
Did you know that you can make your dreams come true, like falling in love,
becoming rich, staying healthy, if you ask for it by faith, and if you
really knew, you'd be surprised by what you could do.

Sesame Street anniversary prompts new UK Google doodle....
(Google doodle in UK features Sesame Street stalwart Cookie Monster)
Sesame Street has earned its place in the Google hall of fame on account of celebrating its 40th birthday.
While the UK initially appeared to have been ignored - its homepage featured Wallace and Gromit celebrating their 20th birthday instead - it has now been brought in from the cold, with a doodle of the Cookie Monster having apparently taken a bite out of a Google logo. (Made out of cookies, naturally.)
The US and Canadian Google homepage features the distinctive spindly legs of Big Bird, and other characters are in the spotlight on other countries' homepages.
The popular television series actually celebrates its birthday on 10 November, when there will be an anniversary show featuring US First Lady Michelle Obama.
New York City has proclaimed 10 November "Sesame Street Day", and will announce a temporary street naming (at Columbus Avenue and 64th Street) in honour of the programme. Sesame Street: A Celebration of Forty Years of Life on the Street, and Street Gang: The Complete History of Sesame Street are the latest additions to the literary.
The show is now broadcast in more than 140 countries and has won 122 Emmy awards.

Whether It Is Harmful To Hibernate Or Not ????
However, many people believe that shutting down is somehow better for a
system than hibernating. Their argument seems to boil down to the idea
that when the system is shut down, certain measures are taken to
protect system settings that aren't extended to the system when you
hibernate. And some people believe that hipernating is much dangerous.
Therefore I just tried to figure it out actually whoz right and whoz wrong!!!!
Therefore I just tried to figure it out actually whoz right and whoz wrong!!!!
I got that most of the people say that hipernating is not a big deal.Hibernating does not harm your computer, it basically just stores your
current windows session in memeory, then accesses it and restores it
when you decide you want to use the computer again.
Hibernation does tend to have problems however, if you have applications running or you are in the middle of something and hibernate, its more the computer has to save in order to make sure everything is there when you log back on. If you just make sure to close most applications to minimize the risk of error, everything should be fine.

And mine eyes got completely relaxed when I saw this "Don't turn off your XP, HIBERNATE it"[see]
And I also figured out some post saying that hibernating is dangerous but most of the post were in favour of hibernating.(from the forums).............
Therefore I would like to have comment on this. What do u say?????If you enjoyed this post, make sure you subscribe to my RSS feed!
