When you think of most expensive domain names ever what comes in your mind! You may not be pretty sure that this domain tops the chart.

Do you know that the domain name sex.com was last sold for $14 million--and it's not even the most expensive URL out there.
I've taken a look at the 11 most expensive domain names to date. Not surprisingly, most are breasts, booze, and 'bling' heavy, but there are some curveballs on the list.

Check them out:

Sesame Street anniversary prompts new UK Google doodle....

(Google doodle in UK features Sesame Street stalwart Cookie Monster)

The US children's TV show Sesame Street has been paid the ultimate compliment of being featured in different Google doodles in different regions.

Sesame Street has earned its place in the Google hall of fame on account of celebrating its 40th birthday.

While the UK initially appeared to have been ignored - its homepage featured Wallace and Gromit celebrating their 20th birthday instead - it has now been brought in from the cold, with a doodle of the Cookie Monster having apparently taken a bite out of a Google logo. (Made out of cookies, naturally.)
The US and Canadian Google homepage features the distinctive spindly legs of Big Bird, and other characters are in the spotlight on other countries' homepages.

The popular television series actually celebrates its birthday on 10 November, when there will be an anniversary show featuring US First Lady Michelle Obama.
New York City has proclaimed 10 November "Sesame Street Day", and will announce a temporary street naming (at Columbus Avenue and 64th Street) in honour of the programme. Sesame Street: A Celebration of Forty Years of Life on the Street, and Street Gang: The Complete History of Sesame Street are the latest additions to the literary.

The show is now broadcast in more than 140 countries and has won 122 Emmy awards.

To Read Emails in Vista Desktop by Installing Gmail Gadget ..

This is my favorite Vista gadget by far. I use Gmail all the time, so having a display on my Sidebar makes the email checking process much faster. All you do is put your username and password in, and it checks your emails. It seems to keep updated very well, so as soon as you receive an email, this tool will tell you.
Using the Gmail Reader sidebar gadget for Windows Vista, you can be notified on new items in your Gmail inbox as well as browse and access the last 20 mails you received.

How to Install Vista Gmail Gadget in Sidebar

First download vista Gmail gadget from the Windows Live Gallery.

  • First, download and install the gadget.
  • The gadget will appear in your desktop.
  • Right click the gadget and click Options.
  • Fill in your Gmail account details and click Login.
  • Once your login is successful , click OK.
In case you would like to customize the sound played when new mail arrives, proceed as following:
  • Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the following path: <your_user_name>/appdata/local/microsoft/windows sidebar/gadgets/Gmail Gadget.
  • Place your own .WAV file in the folder. Rename your old sound file from NOTIFY to NOTIFYOLD and then name your new sound file NOTIFY.
Note: As the Gmail password you provide is kept in Clear Text – please make sure you don’t install the gadget on public computers!

Whether It Is Harmful To Hibernate Or Not ????

However, many people believe that shutting down is somehow better for a system than hibernating. Their argument seems to boil down to the idea that when the system is shut down, certain measures are taken to protect system settings that aren't extended to the system when you hibernate. And some people believe that hipernating is much dangerous.
Therefore I just tried to figure it out actually whoz right and whoz wrong!!!!

I got that most of the people say that hipernating is not a big deal.Hibernating does not harm your computer, it basically just stores your current windows session in memeory, then accesses it and restores it when you decide you want to use the computer again.

Hibernation does tend to have problems however, if you have applications running or you are in the middle of something and hibernate, its more the computer has to save in order to make sure everything is there when you log back on. If you just make sure to close most applications to minimize the risk of error, everything should be fine.

And mine eyes got completely relaxed when I saw this "Don't turn off your XP, HIBERNATE it"[see]

And I also figured out some post saying that hibernating is dangerous but most of the post were in favour of hibernating.(from the forums).............
Therefore I would like to have comment on this. What do u say?????
